Today, a sign went up announcing that renovations have begun on the exterior of the building. It's now a hard-hat area. Fortunately, we own hard hats.
We'll post a photograph of the sign as soon as possible.
The Voice of America Bethany Relay Station is located about 25 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio. It went into service in 1944 and transmitted news of World War II on shortwave radio frequencies using 200,000-watt transmitters built by the Crosley Corporation.
